The WLAN specialist teams with ARRIS to help Time Warner and others add Wi-Fi.
Continuing its partnering strategy, wireless LAN
The sales, marketing and support deal was announced today at the Society of
Cable Telecommunications Engineer's Cable-Tec Expo in Orlando, Fla.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Under the pact, ARRIS will provide integration and support services for all
of Colubris' Wi-Fi access products, making it easier for cable companies to
deploy hotspots
"Wi-Fi is an ideal element for driving the cable [operators'] opportunity
with enterprise customers," Barry Fougere, president and CEO of Colubris
Networks, said in a statement.
